🚨 🚨 URGENT: Today, @unitednations negotiations to decide the fate of our oceans begin in NYC.
That’s why last night, Greenpeace USA activists shone a light on the Brooklyn Bridge displaying images of ocean beauty to show what’s at stake.
After two decades of talking, the projections urged negotiators to act and finalize the strongest treaty possible this month. We’re here to remind delegates that while they negotiate, the world is watching.

🚨 🚨 URGENTE: Hoy, comienzan las negociaciones de @nacionesunidas, en NYC, para decidir el futuro de nuestros océanos.
Por eso, anoche activistas de Greenpeace iluminaron uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de Nueva York, proyectando imágenes de la belleza de los océanos para mostrar lo que está en juego.
Después de dos décadas de conversaciones, instamos firmemente a los gobiernos a que concluyan ya un Tratado Global de los Océanos sólido.
Estamos aquí para recordar a los delegados que mientras negocian, el mundo está mirando. Los que han dicho que quieren proteger los océanos tendrán que rendir cuentas, y los gobiernos bloqueadores no tendrán dónde esconderse.
