Elena Kampouris Instagram – My heart is broken to hear the news of my on-screen Pappou, Michael Constantine’s passing. He welcomed me the very first day I met him at our table read with open arms into the Portokalos family. Michael was full of so many wonderful, colorful stories and a proud Greek American at that – one who was so generous towards me to share countless stories into the wee hours of the night on set in-between filming. He was truly a special, sweet man and I am so grateful I had the good fortune of meeting him. Though I’m devastated to think that I will never get see him again, or hear another one of his stories, or his comforting laugh and warm bear hug – I will forever take comfort in the memories we shared and that he will eternally be my Portokalos Pappou. 🇬🇷💔Rest In Peace, Pappou💔🇬🇷
