I auditioned for a fantastic new show last week in the role of a former college cheerleader…. It reminded me of this throwback pic from my redhead days as the Captain of the UNT Dancers at the University of North Texas, circa 1998!! I keep this picture framed on my husband’s nightstand. That way, even when he rolls over and sees his hot mess of a wife – hair in a bun, sleep mask on, night guard in, old t-shirt and granny panties, snuggling with my dog and surrounded by cats – he can look at this picture and know that a hot piece of ass is buried in there somewhere! 😂 Go Eagles! 🦅 💚💙🤍💙💚 #UNT #NorthTexas

He gives zero fecks…. I get asked sometimes what to do in a “slate.” A slate is this: a full body shot in which you state your name, height and location, often requested by casting directors to accompany your audition tapes. I like to throw in that I’m vaccinated and boosted just so it’s clear from the jump. Why do we do slates? No one knows for sure. It’s one of those great mysteries of the world of entertainment… Blessed are the casting offices who say “NO SLATES PLEASE!” We ❤️ you!

Just a Texas girl, living in LA, cooking up my daddy’s chicken fried venison in my cast iron skillet. Not gonna lie, and not afraid to brag, it was DELICIOUS. Good thing Mama’s coming to visit with more venison soon! (I am notorious for absolutely RUINING any chicken dish I attempt to cook, so I take my wins in the kitchen when I get them!)

My ongoing obsession with Catherine O’Hara began with Beetlejuice, which I’ve seen more times than I’ll ever be able to count.
