The hardest job in the world is raising a child.
So many of your own weaknesses constantly slap you in the face.
And no matter how hard you try, you cannot be a good parent you can just be a good enough parent. And that’s a win.
The important thing to remember is, to try and lead by example. Children don’t do as you say, they do as you do.
I’m constantly struggling with keeping my cool and being patient around my daughter. It’s a daily struggle, but wanting to be a better role model helps constantly checking my own behaviour and being more mindful.

This film has resonated with my current world view and my limited understanding of the human experience in the infinite cosmos.
The last film that blew my mind and became sort of a life mantra was The Matrix. @everythingeverywheremovie is my new Matrix.
I believe there are multiverses and alternate/parallel realities. We know people from different lifetimes and we meet them over and over again in different shapes and forms. Everyone we know and everything we do is connected and you may someday see how you are exactly where you were supposed to be. How all the turns taken weren’t coincidental. It was meant to get you exactly where you are.
And most importantly I’ve always believed that what we are not here, we are somewhere else; fulfilling our purpose.
I’m rambling because this film has just blown my mind.

Women are constantly falling prey to unnatural beauty standards that are peddled to them throughout their lives.
Also the unspoken rule of not being allowed to age, is such a heavy burden to carry. And being in the vanity business makes it even harder where one is expected to look a certain way. At all times.
Some days I wish I could just set it all aside and enjoy being my natural state with my fine lines, my greys, my folds & my scars. I do manage to balance well between my reel and real self but I can admit, it is not without trepidation.
