Love that they’re re-airing Betty White’s SNL episode tonight as a tribute. It was one of my favorite episodes ever when I was a newer writer on the show. Got to write CSI: Sarasota and a Scared Straight with Betty White in a prison uniform that I never thought she’d do. I remember Betty had a vodka soda right before the show which seemed pretty bad-ass (and dangerous?) for a 90-year-old about to do a live sketch show. And even then it was so cool that Jay-Z sang “Young Forever” on the Betty White show. RIP to one of the best hosts ever.

My mom texted me that someone guessed “conin o brien.” Only thing that makes me feel better is that no one answered @davechappelle right a couple months ago and the clue was a photo of him and the phrase “he played Bradley Cooper’s longtime friend” #thatdamnmichaelche #cousinelon

At dress rehearsal last night I talked about how much I love @venenolaserie Then that section got cut for time. But then the graphic still appeared on the air show for some reason, out of nowhere. Which was pretty confusing since I think I was talking about @gamestop at the time. But if you haven’t seen Veneno, I highly recommend it. You might not guess it from the poster but it will almost certainly bring you to tears. (Just like @gamestop if you run a hedge fund.)
Guys, my book is officially on sale today. I just looked back and realized that I started writing it in April of 2015. I’m extremely grateful to everyone who helped make it happen and I hope you’ll read it. Who knows, you may have the same reaction as Amy Schumer: “I was caught off guard by how much I enjoyed this book, considering how indifferent I feel about Colin as a person.” Thank you Amy and anyone who gives the book a chance.

Whoa. I just won an Audie for best audiobook (humor). Not only was I honored just to be nominated, I was honored that they classified it as humor. You never know. Plus one of my favorite writers @davidsedarisbooks announced the winner and one of my favorite novelists Jennifer Egan was a judge. I’m really grateful to everyone who listened to the book and voted. This might be the first individual award I’ve won since Least Improved Swimmer 1998 #audies2021
