Jake Helgren Instagram – As we remember those fallen on this day, we also celebrate their memories. We also celebrate my father, who would have turned 71 today. Funny enough, traveling through the airport earlier I swear to God I heard my dad’s voice saying “Jake!” in his booming Texas drawl—but when I turned my head toward the line at Peets Coffee, he was nowhere to be found. But I’d like to think maybe he was there, wishing me a safe flight. Happy heavenly birthday, Dad. You are loved, and missed. ❤️
