Justin Baldoni Instagram – This is devastating and heartbreaking. The singular goal of the #Bahai faith is the oneness of humanity. The belief that as Baha’u’llah says we are “The fruits of one tree and the leaves of one branch”. And to end prejudices of all kinds. Our work starts within and our beliefs are NEVER forced on others. It’s a loving, accepting and non-judgmental faith and it’s followers are kind, humble and non political. And yet somehow The Bahai’s are a threat to power in places like Iran. The Iranian regime has once again launched a sweeping crackdown on its Baha’i community, a long-persecuted religious minority in Iran with over 300,000 members and over seven million around the world. Dozens of Baha’i’s have been arrested and their properties forcefully destroyed, according to residents and rights groups. Iran’s Baha’i community has long faced persecution and discrimination because the government does not recognize our faith. You can’t even go to college if you are a Bahai. This has to stop.
