It was a pleasant surprise to be voicing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The original pilot had her speaking perfect, proper Tamil. I was literally dumbfounded.
Mind you, for most of us, who speak regular everyday Tamil, even simple sentences in chaste Tamil, can be challenging. And while recording such lines, for the diction, expression, delivery, everything to be spot on, it takes time.
And here, Aishwarya Rai was rocking it!
Next surprise.
There was barely any one helping her with the lines during the take. Means, no one prompting. She had it all in her head.
She had taken a whole lot of time, and like a good student, done her homework, properly.
“Dubbing la paathukalam” is a common line during shoot in many, many places to just mouth your lines knowing well that some one else is doing your lines, so why bother.
Not her, and definitely, not here.
It is artists like her, who show the way, that no matter how high you reach, you don’t take anything for granted. And that every single detail matters.
It has been absolutely wonderful to try and match her poise, tone and expression. It didn’t come easily but I thoroughly enjoyed the process.
A big thank you to Director Dhanasekar, who patiently answered my endless questions during the dub sessions and Mani sir’s team, the sound engineer, Muthu.

What do I say about this?
Going to crescent avenue and entering the studio of Madras Talkies is like going home. Warm, friendly faces and fun chats catching up with technicians and staff at the office.
Except you don’t know what challenges are waiting for you when you enter the dub suite. But every time I leave this studio, overwhelmed and with a sense of fulfillment.
Being part of films like Kannathil Muthamittaal, Guru, Cheliya ( Telugu version of Kaatru Veliyidai ), Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (tamil and telugu) and now, PS-1, has enriched me in more ways than I can think of.
This is my first one, for the enchanting and deeply committed actor, Aishwarya Rai.

Through pressing personal commitments and severe health issues, everything imaginable has come in the way of regular training. But, I have been able to get back on track. Just because, I want to.
@vimalambat has always been there to gently, but firmly nudge me back into a better way of living. Because, in his words, ‘its mind over body’ towards a better lifestyle 😊
@coach.arte and @sukinesh ensure we never make one wrong move and watch us over keenly, ensuring we finish the w.o.d the best we can!

Exercising makes me feel good from within and I make sure I find time for it one way or the other. There have been several long periods of time, sometimes stretching into months, where I’ve been unable to make time for fitness. But I always make sure I get back on track. Step by step. It can just be a simple stretching or breathing session for a matter of ten or fifteen minutes. A brisk walk. Anything. But I bounce back. And, the sooner you realise that fitness is an absolute must for you, especially if you’re a woman, no matter the age, the better for you! Its never too early and definitely, never too late.
So @editfitness is where I’ve been training since the end of 2018 and I must admit I’m addicted to this place. Why? Because they have dedicated coaches who don’t simply push for countless reps but instead show you exactly how to perfect your posture and watch over closely so you never hurt yourself. The training sessions themselves are constructed in a manner that you can never find any two sessions alike, and that, truly makes every day unique, and challenging.
Above all, I never thought I’d fall head over heels in love with lifting weights😂
By the way, this is no paid promotion or that sort of stuff. I’ve been filmed for plenty of other things but this is completely different and I so wanted to share it with you!!
