⚖️ It’s World Mental Health Day today. Personally the day means lot to us as we started our Ayurvedic wellness brand shanti (meaning peace), based on personal experience & our exploration into herbs like ashwagandha (that Kiran’s mum had been taking for years through her Ayurvedic knowledge), can help with feelings of distress and anxiety. Shanti is an excellent anti-stress tonic and has been used to calm anxiety, calm nerves and help those who are stressed.

Dear Umesh,
You made me laugh to the point that I was crying with laughter. Our stories and adventures and gossip sessions were endless. I’ve been reliving everything on repeat. Everything is now so quiet. It’s like we were walking in a field gossiping and I turn round and you’re no longer there. I truly don’t know what to do right now but I know you gave me the tools to figure it all out.
You put me in the heart of the industry, my fiercest supporter. You picked me up whenever I was down and always made me laugh.
You taught me about art and Jewllery. You taught me to own it in life, to walk into a room and own it. To always hold my head up high no matter what. To always protect my heart and to stop letting stupid people make me sad.
I’m so lucky to have had you in my life for the past decade. You truly inspired me. Your work ethic, resilience and persistence, you made sure I was your mini you.
You touched so many peoples lives and brought everyone together. You were the sun. The centre of India.
I know you’re looking down from heaven and I know you are also a bit scared. But I know we are super strong. I know as Tara says you will travel the universe, you’ll be buying stars and the odd moon here and there.
You made everyone feel special, no matter who they were.
There was only one Umesh Jivnani, there will never be another like you.
Finally I will listen to all your advice, and I will make you so damn proud.
I’ll still be going round to yours and I’ll gossip and eat toast with your mum.
Tara said she’ll take me to that shop in andheri, and I’ll always bug Alia. Your brother told us all your funny stories and everyone was laughing.
