Julie Ann Emery Instagram – The many layers of Nugget. I named my prosthetic belly Nugget before we even started filming. And built into my character a relationship with Nugget. It helped make it real for me that I was moving through the disaster and our world for two. Eventually the Cast and even the Crew also called my belly Nugget. And I like to think that Nugget became real for all of us. Our Costume Designer Debra Hanson did a beautiful job both finding a belly with weight, that hung properly, and then under and over-dressing me in a way that made it feel like an extension of my own body. And bless @goforhugo & @costumegod for continually helping me in, out of, and navigating life for our 6 month shoot with Nugget. Nugget was my continual scene partner. Even in scenes alone on screen, there were two of us there. That fact affected every single moment of the show. So I give you Nugget.
