Had a much needed little staycay. Did you know that @hiltonsingaporeorchard has been renovated, revamped and moved down the road to where Mandarin Gallery is? It’s bigger and better. I had a scrumptous lobster & seafood buffet dinner at their new Estate Restaurant which had a good variety of Asian flavours. 😍 Then I headed to their new bar at Ginger.lily to try their bespoke cocktails. They were so intricate and included thoughtful fusions. I’ve never had cocktails like that. I’ve always had great times staying with Hilton and their incredible staff. Now it’s even better!! I just spent 3 days locked-in with one of the most passionate and talented people I’ve ever met. It was eye-opening, inspiring and absolutely emotionally charged. At the end of day 2, my eyes were so swollen from having cried so much. I went to bed with eyes dried out but my heart was filled. I can’t be any more grateful for this incredible experience. I’ve learnt and grown so much during this entire training and took away irreplaceable bonds with these incredible humans. It was surreal spending the weekend getting to be so open and vulnerable with each other. It was exactly what I needed to grow as an actor. Bukas, basag & wasak. I’ve been filming my first Chinese series for @ch8sg . I didn’t grow up with much exposure to Chinese because no one spoke it at home. Bisaya was heard more as I was growing up. Most of my exposure of Chinese came from the many 9pm shows I watched on Ch8. Now, to be on set and filming with veterans I spent my childhood watching has been absolutely surreal. I am so grateful for the faith that has been put in me for this. It’s been nerve-racking but wildly exciting at the same time. I just really wish my dad was here to see this. He would have been so so proud. ❤️ The show airs next January. So…记得收看 “黄金巨塔” (Strike Gold)! #黄金巨塔 #StrikeGoldCh8
