The last two days have been quite difficult for me but I’m glad i have my fam around to constantly keep me up!!!

My parents, especially my mom cheered me up quite a lot the last 3 months, she did all the stupid things I would suggest we do so I wouldn’t end up having another meltdown. This was the day of the surgery at 5am, she stayed with me all night telling me the most stupid stuff so I don’t feel the stress and right before I left to the operation theatre I wanted to do this and without any hesitation my mom jumped in and convinced my dad to do it too. I wasn’t even a bit scared after that. The surgery went super well

I tore my ACL
And that’s how it happened!
We were shooting for a fight sequence, I rehearsed the scene perfectly about 6 times before the take and then on take, i slipped a dot and my knee slipped a little more than a dot, I screamed with a chilling pain and my mind went blank. A few seconds later I couldn’t even understand where the pain was felt from. I’m someone who doesn’t cry for small injuries, I just dust myself off and get back to whatever I was doing but this time I couldn’t. I was on set so my team helped me to the hospital and the doctor looked at me and said it shouldn’t be anything major cause I’d be in a lot of pain and tears if it was.
We did an x-ray and all my bones looked fine, then we did an MRI (My first MRI) and there we could see that my ligament was completely torn. I consulted 5 different surgeons 2 physiotherapists and everyone has suggested I get a surgery done as the damage is not repairable by itself.
When the last surgeon told me that this is the way, I cried not being able to accept the fact that I won’t be able to do anything except rehab and recovery for at least 3-4 months (best case scenario) post op. I’mma give this recovery journey my all, strengthen myself and bounce back as soon as possible.
My movie team, especially my director @abhishek.basanth and producer have been super supportive with everything and they are nourishing me with all the strength and positivity I need to come out of this stronger.
@abhishek.basanth says I’m a warrior and I’m gonna come out of this into something more deadly than i am today
My cinematographer @sunojvelayudhan constantly reminds me I’m his HERO and there’s no one who could have done the things i have in this film and this is the time i need to focus on getting better and that’s it.
And last but surely not the least my family, friends and ALL OF YOU have been sending me sooooooo much love.
All of your words truly motivates me to recover and be back sooneshhhhhh!!!

Appu sir has always been an inspiration on how one should enjoy and celebrate the life given to us ❤️.
I’ve only been able to meet appu sir twice, but the twice was enough to understand what a positive person he was. The first time we ever met it was at paramvah’s office and I was standing there a few people away from him with a bright smile on my face. I walked upto him after the pooja and he instantly recognised me and told me I was an incredible dancer I felt like I almost fainted that he even knew my name. I will never forget how special he made me feel though he had no obligation to. He really was and will always be the most humble, down to earth, supremely talented human being that I’ve ever come across in my life. I’m happy to have had the chance to meet him in person.
To the man who touched more than a million lives, you will never be forgotten. We will celebrate you everyday for all the years to come ❤️
And to the woman who’s resilience and will power has been so inspiring to see, thanks for celebrating appu sir the way you do, may the strength and courage you have burn brighter than any star! @ashwinipuneeth.rajkumar
