Today’s colour – yellow
Deool won Best Film National Award – the Golden Lotus 😍 it is one of my personal fav films too ! I’m in love with Umesh – Girish Kulkarni duo.. They literally worked on my style of talking.. the way my character- वहिनी does bossing is hilarious !
Beautiful part is whilst I was shooting for देऊळ, I was pregnant ☺️ my shoot was spanned over all 3 trimesters of my pregnancy 💓 I didn’t complain for no makeup as the inner glow was super radiating and a guiding force for me ! I have literally celebrated this film with full of my heart 💛💛💛 Vahini is yellow- beaming , happy and absolutely nonchalant 😂😎

Pooja from @faroutakhtar ‘s ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ is so unique.. Her attitude is frank, cool and easygoing.. She was my introduction to the the city of Mumbai.. Pooja is light and humorous.. Full of exuberance which completely signifies with today’s colour.. मोरपंखी 🦚
Needless to say she gave me my identity with this landmark film and the iconic song ‘woh ladki hai kahan ‘😍

One is Shubhangi from Kedar Shinde’s agabaai arrechchya 2 and other one is Rekha from Rishikesh Gupte’s Dil Dimag aur Batti.. These two characters are lush green for me .. they are hilarious – originally and situationally too 😂 they bring so much hope to me ! Why to struggle to be perfect..? Rather it’s so much fun to be what we are !

I got to work with Govind Nihlani sir for TI AANI ITAR.. Govindji is so good with actors ! He taught me to read and listen to the words written by the writer with great amount of respect.. He asked us to be involved in every aspect of the film.. I remember the day we locked my costumes..
For me, this blue colour of my saree sums up one’s strength as a person, as a citizen.. we must wake up to the surroundings.. we must seek peace.. we all deserve it 💙 exactly that’s what my character ‘Naina’ does in the film ! Observe, ponder and ACT upon..
