My first day in the Shortland street building you were the first person to come up and introduce yourself. You instantly made me feel welcome and after I was done even offered me a ride home. You always propped up, not only me but all the younger cast. You were never above us always beside us and were truly passionate about seeing us do our best. You gave guidance, critique but most importantly always reminded me to have fun. Your energy was so contagious and I am so grateful that my path crossed yours. My heart is deeply sore for you pooz. You are dearly, dearly missed ❤️

How’s she still single? 🤷🏽♂️😅 Love you nan
I know this is a situation I’ve been in (on both sides of the couch). But we’re boys, it’s much easier to call him a dick and get on with your life than ask him what’s up. Probably not the best way to handle it though aye? sometimes all you need to do is listen #justask #LikeMindsLikeMine

To the matriarch of the Di Somma family. The reason my lady @gigikingi and now son are here. Through meeting you I see your humour, spark and charm. Through the many cherished stories, from the people that love you the most, I get to have a glimpse into the amazing woman you were. I am so grateful for you. Happy 100th Nonni ❤️

Whina is showing in Australian theatres now. So honoured to be a part of this incredible film
Whina is out in cinemas today. In it I had the privilege of portraying Cryil Chapman. Cyril was 20 when Te Rōpū o te Matakite marched from Te Hāpua (Far north) down to parliament in Wellington. Cyril held the Pouwhenua in various moments throughout the march and ultimately walked it into parliament. The Pouwhenua signified our connection to this land and wasn’t to touch the ground until the grievances were settled. In tribute to this we did not let our Pouwhenua touch the ground during the duration of filming. I am proud to be able to tell part of his story in this movie. Sorry I couldn’t bring your majestic beard but the heart was there all the same 🖤🤍❤
