The real Georgio Peviani, Adam Asmal, has become a close friend of mine. We had a shared experience with this film where it transformed both of our lives! Since then, my life has completely changed. 100 million people watched that film. And now I don’t live in a shed. As someone who grew up in a very loving yet small house as the youngest of six siblings and didn’t go to university, I’m extremely lucky to be able to make cool shit I want to make and not be broke.
