Happy International Sloth Day!!! Betty’s 99th Birthday occurred during the pandemic so we couldn’t do a big celebration, but our friends Wildlife Learning Center generously offered to supply a surprise guest Sloth to mark the occasion! Betty was THRILLED!
Meet Milo! During the pandemic, we kept Betty safe by keeping human visitors at bay. Milo’s humans would stand outside the sliding screen door, but Milo was always allowed entry. I think it’s pretty clear from this photo that Betty was happy with the arrangement 🙂
The houses are sold. The auction is over. The spirit of kindness and generosity lives on.
To all those who participated in the auction… thank you! To those who won… CONGRATULATIONS! You all helped to ensure that Betty’s legacy of giving will continue for a long time to come. To those I was fortunate enough to meet this weekend – what a blessing. Betty fans are truly the BEST fans and you all brought so much love and warmth with you each day ❤️.
To @juliens_auctions – you promised a museum-quality exhibition. You promised to treat every item with respect and tender, loving, care. Your entire staff delivered from beginning to end.
There’s a hole in the world for sure. Betty White was just a singular human being. There will never be anyone like her. But, if this past week has taught me anything, it’s that the gift she leaves behind is the love and the connection with others that her fans and friends carry with them.
We haven’t closed the book… we’ve simply turned a page. So many more good things to come. Stay tuned…
-Kiersten
The beach behind what was Betty’s home in Carmel. I was in Monterey over the weekend and drove through on my way home. Easy to see why she loved it sooooo much.
Last night Guide Dogs for the Blind celebrated 80 years of service with a wonderful gala in San Francisco. They did special things throughout the evening to honor Betty, who was a long-time supporter. Fun fact: Betty’s golden retriever, Pontiac, was a career change guide dog who came from this organization. It’s truly special to see how much Betty contributed during her lifetime, and how beloved she continues to be – and that her legacy of giving is an inspiration to others ❤️

The view from Betty’s home in Carmel. One of the most serene and tranquil places ever. No wonder she loved it so very much….
The Estate of Betty White has donated several items of memorabilia from Betty as well as Allen Ludden highlighting their involvement in the Game Show world!!! – – –
The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York, is extremely grateful to have recently received a donation that includes awards and other memorabilia from Betty White and Allen Ludden. These materials have been incorporated into The Strong’s National Archives of Game Show History, one of the museum’s significant initiatives. Vice President for Collections and Chief Curator Christopher Bensch expressed his excitement about the donation and added, “I can’t wait to show these wonderful materials to the public when The Strong produces a major interactive exhibit about game shows and their history in 2025. Both Betty and Allen were important parts of that story and I know that our hundreds of thousands of guests
will be thrilled to see them included.”

A beautiful tribute for a beautiful lady tonight…
Congratulations to the lucky winner of Koko the Gorilla’s original artwork – setting a world’s record for the highest price paid for animal artwork! Amazing!!!!
Betty was a great friend to Wildlife Learning Center in Sylmar, CA. They named two baby porcupines Betty and Allen as a tribute. Betty grew up to have a baby. Human Betty was fortunate to get to spend time with her namesake as well as the little one.
