We got a surprising message from Jaycee Dugard. The young woman I met years ago – who escaped from a life of captivity and inspired a nation with her courage.
She established the JAYC Foundation in 2011, which supports families in crisis. As of tonight, they have created a fund to receive donations for the 13 Turpin children. She writes that the people who helped her changed her life – and say now it’s “our turn to pay it forward.”
