Eliza Dushku Instagram – My niece, 16 years old, took this pic of her friend as they headed out to Franklin Park last night to peacefully protest for BLM. Let it really sink in. All were well aware of the covid & unknown risks “we wore masks, did our best to social distance, & it was really cool- they had hand sanitizer stations set up all around—& it was SO peaceful, Yaya” she told me. Since then she has self-quarantined away from her family at home for the next number of days— but she’s clear in her message & determination: that this was worth it, that this was/is necessary~ “I am going to be on the right side of history when we look back at this time one day,” she told me unwaveringly.
