Lisa Ray Instagram – In a world gone mad, the sanest response is to turn to artists and poets. Surrealism was born in the aftermath of WW1 as a technique to allow the subconscious to express itself through what appears to be unnerving and illogical imagery but – but – what it really does is engage a deeper part of our minds. For this reason and more I was so stoked to catch @rohanjog show @methodindia Weird and simultaneously so comforting – sort of like an inexplicable craving for chocolate dipped chicken- Rohan’s striking whack-a-doodle surrealist work is presented as canvas, as Tripper Trooper NFTs (accompanied by digital prints) and as words by verbal jouster and artist @juiekablooey for a special engagement…I can’t be there but I got a taste during rehearsal and I advise you to pack your dream catchers and be there for the performance.
