Mariel Molino Instagram – 🌒Lux Noctis🌑 In a post-apocalyptical-matriarchal community, Lina faces her trial to bring light or perish to the darkness. Mara’s compassion pushes Lina to create an unprecedented light. In March 2020, right before the world shut down, I had the pleasure to work with Damiana as her Lina on Lux Noctis (which ironically takes place in a post-apocalyptical world). The odds were stacked against Damiana – thunderstorms and flooding on set at Paramount Ranch, a 6 month shut down, and a re-imagining of her story, but she did it. Now @luxnoctisfilm has had a beautiful festival run including the following Oscar qualifying festivals @encounterssff @flickers.riiff @floridafilmfest where won Grand Jury Award for Best Narrative Short I’m honored to be a part of this story and this group of creatives.
