After a lot of discussion, deliberation and due diligence, we have arrived at a tough decision. Due to the impact Covid-19 continues to have on the country, we have decided to reschedule LIFE ITSELF for May 31 – June 3, 2022. While we did consider a virtual option, we realized so much of the magic you will experience at LIFE ITSELF is from the true human connection and collective thought that comes from gathering together in person. And, given the Hotel del Coronado is the perfect setting for all that we have planned for you, it will remain the home of LIFE ITSELF. We won’t sugarcoat it. Postponing the gathering is disappointing and disheartening for all of us. We spent the last several weeks with extensive spreadsheets of newly collected covid-19 data, and slowly layered more and more strategies on top of it, with the hopes of making it all work. Vaccines, testing, masks, which all no doubt offer incredible protection, were all part of the discussion. Still after consultations with leading infectious disease doctors and following CDC guidance, we realized the only right decision was to postpone until the springtime. Again, none of this was easy, but we consider all of you part of the LIFE ITSELF family, and your health is the most important thing to us. We are going to keep working over the next few months to instill even more awe and wonder into LIFE ITSELF, and we can’t wait for you to be with all of our speakers in May. They have so much to unveil, and there will be some truly historic moments. LIFE ITSELF is not a conference, it’s a gathering. We have both traveled to conferences all over the world, and we can assure you LIFE ITSELF will be unlike anything you have ever attended.
