I don’t know if you’ve ever seen it, but when I saw this it’s the first thing I thought of. Congrats on all of the hours you practice that no one knows about. I want to say I hear it in your playing – you are phenomenal Jamal…. And now to respond… I’m sorry to hear what you’re going through. I pray a blessing of healing and hope to you and your mother. I’m in a similar process. Although my process was chemo first and I’m about to undergo my 5th round, I’m looking forward to surgery. To answer your question, my best piece of advice is HOPE. My Faith has carried me through this process as I’ve mentioned many times, and that faith is connected to hope. Hope that the Creator of Heaven and Earth has a greater vision than I could ever have. And sometimes in these processes of such pain and fear we tend to lose track of the Hope of Life. Greatest thing to offer Mum, is that you will be there with her to continue on fighting. And reminding her that greater is her future than the current pain she is living through. I thank you for reaching out, this is such a humbling process. It’s an honor to be able to respond to you. I pray that when I do answer someone it serves as a connector with a greater group of people on this platform, as I’m not able to answer everyone, due to the fragility of what I’m living and keeping up with my responsibilities.
