Remember that when you scroll past a transformation post on your feed. It’s not just physical. It’s incredibly vulnerable, personal, and real.

I still remember my feelings on the left pic that you see as a 16 year old . Scared,shy,timid and din’t know how to face the camera . That smile you see says it all. This was when a journalist asked me to send my photographs for an interview that I gave while hosting my first ever TV show - in Jaya tv back then.

So, what changed between these two photos? My entire perspective of my body ,my mindset, my opinions and who I am.

There have been experiences and people along the way who have been my brightest light teaching me the craft,the confidence,the knowledge and the personality traits that you see in me today. I feel incredibly blessed for my journey and experiences and the unconditional love and kindness that I get from people like you ♥️♥️♥️.

Every transformation has a story of battling darkness and I have had my own share of it in this travel so far too(and I m not done battling). There is so much power in what one has gone through in any transformation and that’s why I feel it’s important to take ownership of it 💯🔥✔️🤝.

Your transformation is as important as mine is for me. Your drive to be better is important- that’s your story and we need you to share it. 👊🏼.

It was so much fun learning this from you @chefshriramrajendran_official 🤩🔥🙏🏻.

Next stop ice cream ,cupcakes and brownies here I come 🍨🧁😎.

If you wanna try this out and give it a go,here is the exact recipe 👇🏻:
Double Chocolate Cake
Butter 200 gms
Sugar 200 gms
Eggs 200 gms ( 4 eggs )
Flour 170 gms
Cocoa powder 30gms
Baking powder 4 gms
Salt 1 gms

Chocolate ganache
Dark chocolate 150 gms
Cream 125 ml

Method:
Cream the butter and brown sugar ,add the eggs one by one slowly and mix them .

Fold the dry ingredients - flour , cocoa powder, baking powder and slate .

Pour it in a greased cake mould and bake it at 180 degrees for 35 min .

Let the sponge cake cool . Then remove it form the mould and cut it in to two equal half .

Heat the cream and pour it over the chocolate . Let it sit for a min .
Now mix the chocolate and cream with a spatula for a smooth creamy texture.

Pour the ganache over the cake and finish the edges .

Chill it for an hour atleast in the fridge. Cut and taste the yumness yourself 😍😋.

This is the phase of life I am in now 👆🏻💯.

This was shot for a upcoming project which I haven’t fully shared to you. That’s for another day 😄👍🏻.

I was so excited for this one as it is my big official Fitness Photoshoot and that too with the one and only @venketramg 🙏🏻♥️🤩.

There was a time in my life where I would look in the mirror and hate what I saw. Face is too big, body is not proportionate, flabby and fluffy everywhere - the list would go on and on.

When I saw myself during this shoot , strangely a part of that came back to me after so many years. I couldn’t help but quickly notice that the skin around my midsection wasn’t sitting perfectly inside my active wear. I felt I was not photo ready for a fitness photoshoot.I din’t feel quite ok .

And then came @venketramg . He sat me down and gave me his two cents ,asking me to stop letting my critical voice take control and own the body I have made naturally with a crazy amount of hard work,discipline and training.This was exactly what I needed. It changed my entire mental dialogue instantly 🔥🫶🏻 .

Our bodies are meant to move, and make shapes. We are humans, not mannequins.

Normalising this is important and to help spread a different message, even though there’s a long way to go,let me take a little step forward with this post 👍🏻✔️🙋🏻‍♀️.

Here I am, owning the body I curated. No six packs , no steroids here - only a work of labour 🙌🏻😇💯👍🏻💛.

Kick started my first ever marathon experience today morning ….☺️🥹♥️🙏🏻🥰…. what a beautiful feeling to finish the 10k run in 54 minutes and being the 4th woman to get to the finish line ♥️💯🙋🏻‍♀️🙈.

This was an unexplored territory so far and I was so frightened and excited standing on the start line .

Other people have have also reinforced the message that it’s too big or too small and needs ‘fixing’ . We have heard it directly ‘Hey,looks like you have gained a few kilos’ or from your friends who were laughing about the larger woman wearing shorts that were “too short for someone so fat.

So like a sponge we soaked up the lesson that to be acceptable, we can’t look like that.

Looking like a real woman means loving your body the way it is. I pray this will sink in, give you hope, empower you and strengthen you in your fight to celebrate and love your body.

I hope that it gives you strength to teach your children a different story about the value of their own bodies.💯😇🙏🏻♥️🤗
