I’ve come away
For me.
Not to get away
From anything,
But to find what
I came here
To seek.
I’ve come away
To remind myself
Of myself.
To be cleansed
In the salt, and
Stoic wisdom
Of the sea.
I miss no one.
i need no one.
Yet I still love.
I leave the doors
And windows
Of my heart open
To the breeze.
Everything
Needs balance.
Everything is just
Ebb and flow.
I live the lessons
The tides have
Taught me.
So I’ve come away.
Don’t bother
Looking for me.
