I am but a bridge, between two moments in time. On the path around itself, taken by the Divine. I am a rope across a chasm, on the Mountain the mystic must climb.
I am the span between here and there, where lovers linger, to remind each other why there’s nowhere more precious to be.
Suspended above the water’s music, softly singing songs of each other. Each shared breath worth more than treasures be.
I am the endless arch, between what I was, and who I know, I will be.
I am the dwindling distance, between you and me.
