Jackson Wang Instagram – 2023 @coachella MAGIC MAN 2. . It’s really been a journey finding my own sound / taste / self for a long time. Been lost for a long time til the process of creating #MAGICMAN album. For the first time, I felt not packaged, not polished, not perfectly commercialized. I felt me.Was completely me being me. I still remember the day I visited 88 at the old office for the first time, 5+ years ago. Talking about crazy ideas and pitching thoughts. And for the first time, I felt someone believing in the potential of my artistry. And is willing to take time to go back and forth exploring to find my magic with me. Guiding me mentally and physically and most importantly, really care about me as a person. It’s very personal to me rather than work & business. And it changed a lot of ways on how I view, feel and engage with music & creatives & art. Also in life. This journey is what I appreciate the most, and this process of consistently finding my true self is something that I’m blessed to have. Thank u for being there for me, back then, now and future.
