Merry Christmas from the U.S. Capitol. Since 1964, the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree has been an annual tradition. This year’s tree is a Lutz spruce from the Chugach National Forest in Alaska. It stands 74 feet tall and traveled over 4,000 miles to get here. One of the best views of the tree is from @speakerryan’s balcony. If you are traveling to DC, make sure to stop by and see it through Jan 1, 2016.
