Gave the commencement speech @goodwinuniversity and received an honorary PhD from the beautiful spirit that is Mark Scheinberg Sang the Nat’l Anthem in Arthur Ashe Stadium, before the match of the great Serena Williams at the @usopen. Saw the work of Harmonia Rosales (@honeiee), one of my favorite artists of all time, in person!! My amazing grandma was posthumously inducted into the Connecticut Women’s Sports Hall of Fame! (This is the last day to donate to our charity fund, btw. Link still in bio) I had my own exhibit at the @thewadsworth, thanks to the #amistadfoundation and some amazing people like #NelbaMarquezGreene, #JohnMotley and more. Had my face memorialized for the exhibit by the phenomenal @ellisechevarria60 . Got to record the audio for my dear friend’s beautiful new middle grade book. #TheManyFortunesOfMaya! So proud of Nicole D Collier @essentialcoco! I love to see my friend’s dreams come true! Got to meet, work with, laugh with, and love these amazingly talented, silly, beautiful spirits. @iamianforeman and @madisonbaezmusic. Love you to the moon and back!
