It was so wonderful to work with Camila and to guide her through this amazing project. Her exhibition is still open through the end of this week, until the 17th, at the BAM Fisher space in Brooklyn. Enjoy this short video that Rolex produced of Camila and I while we worked together in Syracuse.

Behind the scenes in Spain! My exhibition, A Great Turn in the Possible, opens tomorrow at KBr Fundación Mapfre, Foto Colectania and MACBA, bringing the 3 organizations together for the first time. I would like to thank everyone involved in this project who helped moved mountains to make this happen. I could not have done it without you and I extend my deepest gratitude to you all.

This Thursday, November 10th at 7 pm, I am so delighted to be in conversation with Yo-Yo Ma. This talk is in honor of Crystal Bridges’ free exhibition, “We the People: The Radical Notion of Democracy” that explores the importance of the U.S. Constitution and free speech to democracy. We will both draw from our careers and experiences to share with you all our perspectives on the role of artists and civic duty.
