Throwback at @tonetweakers #thesynthsantuary with a KB Electronic Music Instrumentation Wavemakers Modular System.
Was lucky enough to meet Dave right before the pandemic at NAMM. When I started @synth_history Dave was one of the very first interviews I did. This one really hits hard. RIP to one of the greats. Without Dave, music wouldn’t be where it is today. Damn.
When @radioclub.jp got me out of my shell (er… astronaut suit) for Ordinary Life. 🎬🖤 Also, this song was on an album called “Danz” and I was GONNA change my moniker from Computer Magic to Danz, but then chickened out at the last second and semi-self-titled the record instead. New tunes coming soon. Standby. ✨
Finally got a chance to check out the @vintagesynthmuseum 🤯🫠🤠 I want them all!!!!

What a year it’s been. The first half was focused mostly on Synth History, my side project dedicated to synths. Got to interview some of my heroes for my ‘zine, like Trent Reznor, Fatboy Slim, Jean-Michel Jarre, John Carpenter, etc. 🤯 Threw a pop-up in Los Angeles at the Vintage Synth Museum, with too many sponsors and friends to name. Collab’d on some shirts with my friend Hagop (Director Fits) and met a lot of you in person at the pop-up. Then got to tour Europe with the incredible TV Girl, who are amazing people. And was lucky enough to have my partner in crime Matt join me for the ride along with my friends Jane and Armen who helped get things done. Saw places I’ve only seen in movies. I got my passport in my 20s and being able to see Europe was always a far away dream, so that was cool. I appreciate everyone heading to the shows early to see my set and especially thank you to all the new fanz. Dyed my hair green again. Made a song about cars (currently working on a German version), had my friend Cody remix a tune, released the score for a short film that made it into Sundance earlier in the year (While Mortals Sleep – directed by Alex Fofonoff) and am working on a new EP. It’s been fun, it’s been fast, and I’m excited for 2023! -Danz

Headed to the Palm Springs Film Fest (@psfilmfest) this week in support of While Mortals Sleep (the film I scored directed by Alex Fofonoff @la_foaf). I’ll be at the @acehotelpalmsprings playing some chill jams Wednesday and party jams on Saturday. We’re giving away some gift bags on Saturday for the screening afterparty of @videohorsefilms While Mortals Sleep & The Voice Actress (totes, WMS cassettes, @synth_history zines) while supplies last. So if you’re in the area attending the festival, drop on by.
