Six years… 💙🤍💙🤍💙 It’s not just Happy Anniversary to my husband, the love of my life, the best taco chef, an excellent puzzle partner, an absolute kick ass father, the person I turn to when I need to add numbers, my acting coach, scene partner, camera operator for these f@cking self tapes, my Netflix & chill buddy, my forever plus one, the President of my fan club, Captain of my spirit squad and so much more… It’s also Happy Anniversary to this beautiful bunch right here – my family. Marrying into the Degnans has given my parents and I blessings beyond our dreams. It’s not lost on me how rare and special it is to truly, I mean TRULY love and adore one’s in-laws. To call someone else’s parents, “mom” and “dad,” and to have a partner who refers to my parents in the same way is a beautiful feeling. To have siblings in Kathleen, Matt, Steve and now Sarah and to have little ones, born since this picture to share holidays with their cousin, our little Tommy, makes my heart soar. When I think back on this day, I still am amazed at the love that was beamed into us, stronger than the sun’s rays. That love has fortified us through six years of challenges we could never have imagined. As we continue to turn a corner into brighter days, I am filled with gratitude for the people in this picture, with whom Tom and I share this special day. Happy Anniversary Mom, Mom, Dad, Dad, Sis, Sister, Brother and Bro. Even though she wasn’t “in the picture” yet, Sarah’s in the picture I have in my mind when I think of my family. Love you guys. The biggest shoot of our careers we put together with our team, both in cost and scale for our little brands @la_femme_en_noir_ & @vixen_by_micheline_pitt. I hope everyone enjoys the crazy collection we made. One of the best things about this weekend is my incredibly amazing friend @erinlcummings joined us on set. Not only is she an incredible actress but she is one amazing model. She has us cracking up all day with her impersonations and jokes. She has an incredible sense of humor and energy and is a GIFT to work with. Wish I could share more but literally was so busy running around that I have no photos, and also we aren’t allowed to share or post anything just yet…. Stay tuned. 👻
This Texas girl loves her barbecue! The absolute BEST barbecue that I’ve had west of my Daddy’s brisket smoker is at Wood Ranch right here in LA. There’s a NEW location opening TONIGHT in Brentwood on Wilshire and Barrington. Last night, @WoodRanch owner (and our dear friend) Eric Anders and his wife (one of my besties, @kelseylichtenstein) hosted Tom, my mom, me and Baby Tommy along with a packed house of friends and supporters for the soft opening of this new location. This one is on the corner or Wilshire and Barrington in Brentwood – 11700 Wilshire. We had already tried most of the menu at the other locations, but we found some new favorites. It was a mini-Joshua Tree reunion with my lady loves @iamscottiet @alyshiaochse @leannerichele & @lindarealestatela We gathered to celebrate @joeholtactor, who captured our hearts as Sam in this beautiful drama AND can currently be seen on your screens with Scottie in @belairpeacock. @nijaokoro was absolutely mesmerizing in the lead role of Angel. She lifted our spirits, broke our hearts and made us laugh out loud with the most subtle of glances and gestures in a bigger than life character. Flawless. The story will draw you in, to the point of audible gasping by the audience (you’ll know it when it happens!), composed by #PearlCleage. Road trip! This little photo op (as well as a DAMN GOOD coffee cake muffin) is at @skinnersrockhouse coffee shop in Jordan Valley, Oregon. There’s not much else between LA and Boise, but they do a great job of making the coffee stop fun and interesting for road weary travelers. Special thanks to my very patient husband who agrees to take pictures like this of Joey Bishop and me everywhere we go. 🐶 (I also took pics here with our baby, in case you’re wondering!)

When shows all had 24 episode seasons, this meant a handful of months. No biggie. However, as season episode counts have shrunk and the months of forced unemployment have grown, actors are still being held to these antiquated limitations. This makes it harder and harder for the average actor to survive between seasons, even if “starring on a hit show.” Scroll to the bottom of the email and click on the blue bold “HERE” link. This will allow you to quickly and easily send pre-written emails to your local congresspeople, telling them you support the LAW Act and that actors should have the freedom to work as much as we possibly can in an already challenging industry. “The Alchemist” was waiting for me in my hotel room. It hid in a little stack of, “in case you’d like to do some reading while you’re here” books that the hotel has offered to guests. This story of a young traveler has been a favorite of mine for years, which I often quote but don’t revisit as often as I’d like. I love when a book finds me again, exactly when I don’t know I’m looking for it. Thank you, @paulocoelho, for your wisdom. I’m so excited to dive back in!
