I love this look so much. I designed it, made it, and hand painted the rust myself. I figured most of the queens would go futuristic, shiny, and new, so I decided to go in the opposite direction. Rust on metal indicates experience, age, sometimes mistreatment, and I think that’s beautiful. After all, that’s where we get our stories from, imperfect moments.

Sewing a look in 24 hours is basically second nature to me, but I’m truly SO impressed with the whole cast. People who had basically never sewn before made beautiful looks, people who sew a lot challenged themselves to do their best work. Of course I’m so SO proud of @luxxnoirlondon. Watching her approach to fashion taught me so much, and continues to teach and inspire me.

Tie Dye!! This one is weird. I know 😂
I knew I could make a pretty 70’s hippie look out of tie-dye fabric, but I thought it would be too expected. My “dye” was my nose blood from my rhinestoned football clutch😂 In my mind, I wanted to look like a paper doll with little blood droplets you could attach and detach #dragqueen

I have always loved @timgunn. He’s incredibly intelligent, has a good sense of humor, and has a heart of gold. His life is also incredibly fascinating, he’s been through so much, and came out the other side a positive queer icon who inspires artists every day. I was so scared for snatch game, but playing Tim made me feel safer ☺️ #timgunn #dragrace #snatchgame
