Here at the Saraswatipur Tea Estate in North Bengal witnessing the fantastic work of the @khelorugby program. The program works with children of tea garden labourers. How successful is it? Apart from changing the kids’ lives forever, for perspective : 14 of their players have represented India. Wrap that around your head. One of Indian Rugby’s most inspiring stories. Those who’ve lived their whole lives in this city will immediately respond and express what this part of Bombay means to them – different things to different people, but all of them evoking a vivid, specific feeling. For me this part of the city has meant different things at different times – the thrill of the Gateway as a kid, roaming Colaba Causeway to eat as a teenager, catching the night show at Regal in my 20s, waiting for the ferry to Alibag in my 30s, filming scenes from a movie on the waterfront in my 40s, watching numb, as television pictures showed the dome of the Taj up in flames on 26/11… #bombay #mumbai #bambai #inmyveins #love #home
