I had been asked to write a love poem to myself, a week or so back, and the fact that I haven’t even gotten around to doing it reminded me what my resolution needed to be for the coming year.
2022 cost me a lot of people I loved, who knowingly or unknowingly somehow convinced me all those negative thoughts I had about myself were true. in 2023, I need to promise myself to let go of all of that. to believe more compliments, to accept all the adulation I’m blessed with, to let more love in and to remind myself I Am bloody love and bloody magic. I mean.. have you met me?
anyway. here’s a picture of a random catto and i. and of course i picked her up against her will and wish and forced my love upon her until she accepted it. cause that’s what i do. now on to learning to do that to mySELF…. Hmm.
