Elizabeth Smart Instagram – I am so excited to announce that @suutbirds has officially added our Smart Defense classes by @elizabethsmartfoundation and @malouffoundation as an accredited class right now this fall 2022 semester!!!! 13% of all college students reported to have experienced rape or sexual assault through physical force, violence, or incapacitation. And college women are two times more likely to be sexually assaulted than robbed. These are very scary numbers, especially since they only count for a few years of a persons life! When you look at even larger time frames of a persons life the numbers and statistics only get scarier. Smart defense is a trauma informed self defense class, we have classes offered in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and will be offering them this coming year in Nevada as well. We hope to see these classes offered in other universities and colleges in the near future. Personal safety and student safety should always be a top priority.
