Evangeline Lilly Instagram – I am home. And taking time to integrate the absurdity of the last two weeks into my being. Such a strange thing to be on a world stage, to be put up on pedestals, with all the lights and eyes bent on you. Such a strange privilege and pressure – part of my reality that feels so outside of reality (“worlds within worlds”). I am happy to sink my feet in the earth again, to feel the bark of a twig against my palm, the moisture of the sea air on my face, the sprinkle of a light rain shower on my head. I am home. And trying to remember that the press tour, the glitz and “glamour”, are also my reality. They feel so absurd to me, and yet they have been a part of my existence for nearly twenty-years. I want to stop denying them, and learn to embrace them. Acceptance is what I am trying to practice. I am trying to make room for all of it – the communion with nature AND the participation with the unnatural. I am trying not to judge it, but to make space within my concept of reality for both. That said, a hermit by nature…I am so happy to be home. (Big, deep, contented sigh. 🤎) #home #nature #contentment #peace #nature #acceptance
