Grace Byers Instagram – I was going to jump on and say how grateful I am for the lessons that 2022 has taught me – and, I am. Very grateful. There has been so much to celebrate and be thankful for. But, if I’m being completely honest, 2022 was also deeply overwhelming in many ways. Both can, and often do, co-exist. And as I speak to others, they are sharing that they feel exactly the same.
So, if you’re still wrestling around with the idea of 2023 approaching and still trying to ‘wrap up’ 2022 in your spirit, know this:
1.) Take your time. Healing is cyclical. Grace is available and in abundance for you. Take a moment to exhale expectations and to inhale grace.
2.) Lean into the spaces that are created for you. (You really need that.)
3.) Reciprocity. Stay close to those who will step in when you’re weary, because you can’t do it all of the time.
4.) Boundaries. Set in love, but with clarity.
5.) The little things. The cup of tea. The show that brings you joy. The quick walk outside. The sun. The unexpected compliment. The small answered prayers. That power nap. With the acknowledgment of the little things, the bigger ones can feel a little less overwhelming to move through.
Have a beautiful, last evening in 2022.✨
