The month that was the most hectic month of my life……
I was watching the storm come but wasn’t sure how I was going to manage it all…..
My life was changing….. !
In a span of 30 days I moved my entire house twice, set up a whole new office, met every possible friend that I wished to see before I am gone for a long time, laughed with them, cried alone, worked almost 20 hours in a day and still kept up with all of it, because I knew that this was just the beginning.
I couldn’t have pulled it all without being around my favorite and most precious ones !
Celebrated Diwali with family, danced my heart in Navratri, partied hard, night-overs with my 15 year long friends, ate every bit of junk (I ate pav bhaji almost everyday in 30 days ) prepped for my big day, and flew down to a whole new country…. All in 30 days with 4 hours of sleep everyday 🥲

Part 1 of my visit to this one hell of a place !
If you are someone who enjoys gorgeous city views this place is for you.
There are many spots in New York, from where you can see the city views but this one is a little different from the others…
First things first : the whole elevator ride to the 92nd floor is well designed. Takes you up in less than a minute and at the same time keeps you occupied with light effects and sounds.
As soon as you enter, be ready to get your mind blown. There are 3 floors from where you can have absolute gorgeous views of the city and not just that, it has a fun room with lots of helium balloons ( very very instagrammable spot )
There is another level where they have an open rooftop and you can enjoy food and drinks on this level. (This one is my favorite level, will visit it again in summer )
Tip : Take the morning slots to avoid long queues and a lot of crowd.

I think every relationship has its own ups and downs. It’s impossible to fall 100% in love with someone in one instance… and I think that’s how it should be !
I have always been the person who thought love should happen in a blink of an eye, but with age and time I have realized that love is not that gives you butterflies in the stomach, it is when you feel calm around that person.
It’s not when you crazily and madly fall for each other it’s when you learn new things about your partner and still keep sticking around. Every nice and happy thing is not love, going through hard times and knowing the “not so good side” about your partner is the real type of love !
With time, I can say that love is a process, and a life long journey… the slower it comes into the relation, the deeper it penetrates !
Understanding your partner, focusing on your partners likes and dislikes and ultimately fulfilling each other’s desires and sharing the good and odd moments with each other is what I would say builds a stronger relationship. And that, we may call it “true love”

One of the top things on my list when I travel to different countries is food ! And it gets really difficult for a vegetarian to find tasty food, with less options on the menu !
Most times I have to choose from the only 2 vegetarian options they have on the list !
Last year I took this ought to talk about all the restaurants that I have personally liked and my personal recommendations on what to eat, while at a particular restaurant.
This restaurant in #jc has been on my list since last summer. Unfortunately I couldn’t visit it until this year and it surpassed all my expectations !!

Being a water baby the location automatically gets a 10/10 ! Right in front of water, overlooking the New-York skyline, it is a perfect spot for date nights, proposals or even an intimate wedding party !
With so many options for vegetarians and that too really delicious tasting and looking varieties !!

Cheese Board (the cheddar soaked in lavender and coffee was to die for )
Hand Cut French fries
Papas bravas ( roasted potatoes with a dip )
Margherita Flat Bread (love love love )
Dip Duo ( hummus with bread )
Cauliflower Steak ( wouldn’t have ever thought “steak” can be vegetarian too !! )
Mushroom Ravioli ( couldn’t try as I don’t eat mushrooms but ishan loved it ! )
Ended this huge ass meal with a Raspberry Sorbe !
Fun fact : the name Lokal is well justified, as they have used everything that is #jerseycity local
Good food + Good Ambience + amazing Staff (warm and welcoming ) look out for Natalie when you visit @lokaljc
