Richa Chadha Instagram – 4.2.23: Madira the OG, eater of aloo bhujiya, the love of my life, my eldest girl has passed on as 13 yo teen veteran to cat heaven. Had adopted her in 2010, a month before I left for the shoot of Gangs of Wasseypur. She was my sibling, my daughter, my 4 legged struggle-buddy. She was with me when I shared a 1BHK with a flatmate, then a 2BHK with 2 flatmates, she survived a fall from the 9th floor of a building, got frequent rides in my i10, she was with me in my time of beanbags, floor cushions, tikka take outs and theatre rehearsals… with us through thick and thin till now… she enjoyed the care from the best caregiver in the world, my mom. Madira chased off intruders and creeps, took flights and eventually relocated to the North. She had a personality! I learnt so much from her. She brought so much joy and comfort to me and my family. Madira, my sweet lil angel, I haven’t cried so much in years. Grief in the gut. Is that why we have pets? To acquaint us with death, as we’re bound to outlive them? What an end to an era my little queen… I love you and always will. Thank you for your love, you are purrfection😭😢🥹 what misery , everyone dies. And also what solace💔
