About 2 or 3 years ago, I was watching a romcom and the big love gesture moment came on and I had tears in my eyes (anyone that knows me well, knows that good movies make me cry🤦♀️) but I had tears in my eyes for a very different reason. It wasn’t about what I was watching. It was because, for the first time, I wasn’t wondering ‘God when’, but I was like,’omo, what God has given me is even better than this’. Not perfect by any means (it doesn’t need to be) but not any less beautiful, and it’s because of you Olubankole @bankywellington
You are my entire heart in human form. A reflection of God’s love for me. The encapsulation of my silent prayers, and I am unbelievably grateful for you.
You are the most compassionate, kind, sweet, peaceful person I know. You put others before yourself. Zaiahs papa, the best papa in the entire universe.
You make loving you soooo easy. You make our home our safe haven. Thank you, banky, for making this marriage thing joyful, but ABOVE ALL, thank you for being you. I honour the human being that you are.

Our polling unit was relatively peaceful. There was a huge turn out, probably about 2000 people.
We got there at 7am and members of the community were already organizing things in terms of giving us numbers and sitting arrangements. Shout out to @theonlychigul @bankywellington @debolalagos @ebuka and a few others.
The INEC officials didn’t show up till almost 11am and voting didn’t start till 12pm. For a polling unit with these many voters, it was a bit crazy that we had only 2 BVAS machines. At 1:35pm when we voted, there were at least 1500 people still waiting to be accredited and to vote.
I’m so impressed with the turn out. People SHOWED UP in Eti-Osa to vote! We were fortunate enough to have a peaceful polling unit but we fear it’s not been the same for a lot of people in our LGA, Lagos and Nigeria at large.
Why must we resort to violence??
A free and fair election is what we hoped for.
To everyone out there who’s standing their ground, fighting the good fight and insisting on their vote counting, GOD bless you!
