Today I’m thrilled to be releasing this cover of one of my favorite tunes ever by @cyndilauper . Stripped down, folk-ed up, and with my whole heart. It refers to a kind of love that I think we all know. It’s not easy, it’s never simple, especially in the middle of the night. And it hurts. It hurts when it expands us from the inside. But it’s worth showing up for, every time, because the real love leads us beyond ourselves and shows us who we can become. The overture, the reaching to each other, is really what sustains us. And through every lost and found, we’re all reaching in the same direction: Out.
