iO Tillett Wright Instagram – I like to build stuff, but a couple years ago, I didn’t even own a drill – When I hung a picture it looked like somebody Uzi’d my wall. Then I scraped together my coins and bought a dump in the 🌵. I realized contractors cost a mint, (and will run you in circles unless you know what you’re doing). So i cracked open YouTube, made friends at the hardware store and fell in love with building materials. 7 years later I’ve ripped apart 8 houses…kinda by accident.
No, I’m not a contractor, I’m just a ding dong with a hammer and a Wi-Fi connection. No, it’s not my job – I make my living telling stories – but if I could give you any dad advice, buy a structure and learn to@turn a pile of trash into your gold. If I could learn it, anyone can.
