One of the most gifted and loving songwriters ever to have graced our planet. Here’s the first of his songs I ever heard – one that I’ve played on stage in every corner of the world, but which has never once lost its charm, beauty and magic to me. It still makes me cry when I hear Karen Carpenter sing it. The world is warmer, richer and deeper for Burt having been here. Thank you. We will miss you, Burt 💫
