When they ask me about my journey and breaking stereotypes, the beauty of it is, it’s not something specific I set out to do.
I just wanted to do one thing that made me happy in a day.
That, has snow balled into me living a life filled with days of me doing things I ABSOLUTELY LOVE.
A lot of cool things start to happen once you do things for Joy rather than any other thing.
Action inspired through true intention (if you want to get spiritual about it (: )
I think more than being a woman with so much ink who likes to lift and act and create, it’s the stereotype of doing things I love and being abundant without giving in to resistance that has been the biggest stereotype I broke for myself.
In simpler terms, I chose to believe I could live a life doing things I loved and be successful at it rather than believe I had to be at a job that made me miserable but may have made me money.
