It’s such a powerful place to be in, because when I notice myself thinking about things that don’t make me better or stressing about things that I don’t have control over I’m quick to notice it. I’m so much aware now. If you’re having trouble being self-aware and noticing when you’re being taken away from the person you feel is truest to who you are … pray. Ask God for self-awareness, resiliency, clarity. So much of who we are and where we end up has to do with our level of self-awareness, we are our best when we are in tune with ourselves and when we are self-aware.
