Hi! Today is my birthday. 🎈 . Here are 3 things I’m incredibly thankful for: 1. My husband and dog. They are the sweetest and handsomest boys I’ve ever met and I’m completely *thrilled* I get to hug them every day. 2. My parents’ health. Shortly after he walked me down the aisle (and after more than 6 years in remission for pancreatic cancer) my dad’s abdominal scan showed it had come back. He underwent 7 months of the most brutal chemo imaginable. Yesterday, his scans came back clear. I fucking love science and human resilience. (And btw my mother is a tiny soldier who will outlive us all…and the true Lowe MVP ) 3. Travel. It fills my cup to the brim, makes me feel small and insignificant (in the best way), and allows me to feel, taste and think in new ways. I fucking need to do more of it. * This year I vow to EXPLORE, HUG MORE DOGS, CALL MY PARENTS EVERY DAY, and CONTINUE GETTING MORE AND MORE DIFFICULT TO MURDER. . #birthday #sincere #health #travel #dogs #parents
