Sunday pampering is back on popular demand and this Sunday it’s going to be a home made skin tightening mask and scrub. All you need is some flax seeds, seasame seeds, red lentils and milk. So try it out and pamper yourself because it’s a Sunday!
Homemade skin tightening and glowing mask
Ingredients and their benefits –
1 spoon flaxseeds- it has anti aging ingredients. helps in skin tightening
1spoon sesame seeds- helps in healing the skin and helps skin glow
1 spoon red lentils – is a natural cleanser and helps in reducing scars and pigmentation
2-3 spoons milk- it helps in nourishing and moisturising the skin
How to make it-
Grind seeds and lentils together and make a coarse powder
Add it to milk and heat it till it turns into a thick paste.
Let it cool.
Spread evenly on the face and neck.
Leave it for 15-20 mins.
Scrub gently and wash it off with plain water.
Do it once or twice a week to get radiating, firmer and younger looking skin 😃✨🌟🌸

Weekends are for binging but Monday gets us back into routine! Cooking up a healthy yet yummy Masala Quinoa Upma which not only is perfect as a meal but also helps in weight loss! Try it out let me know do you want more healthy cooking recipes?
Recipe-
Soak one cup quinoa for 15-20 mins
Heat 1 tbsp oil
Add 1//2 tsp asafoetida and cumin
Add chopped garlic and green chilies
Saute just a little and then add 1 medium sized chopped onion. .
Add veggies of your choice. I used green peas and carrot. Cover and cook till it turns soft.
Then add 1 small chopped tomato
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
Red chilly powder as per taste
1/2 tsp garam masala
Salt as per taste
Add very little water so that masala doesn’t get burnt.
Now add soaked quinoa and 2 cups water.
Cover and let it cook till quinoa is cooked properly.
And your yummy and healthy masala quinoa vegetable upma is ready! Enjoy!
