🙌🏽FOR THE KIDS IN AFRICA🙌🏽 Getting ready for the Marathon organised with @one_heart_foundation for @run_from_poverty I’m raising this time $15000 to finishing building the school in Uganda….and for that I’ll be running my first EVER marathon…in Kenya…in July. So I’m slowly getting ready…I’ll be running weekly and this is my 1st run…6.5kms in 46min. Going through a few downs at the moment body wise and amazing teacher Doug Hooie from @semerusilat helped me deal with it by reminding me how to (re)focus on my breathing and body movements when everything gets too much around me (us people). Excuse my “bad” balance but as you can see my ankle is wrapped because I rolled it a couple of weeks ago and that really affected me not just physically but mentally even though I’m trying not to show it but sometimes you gotta be honest with yourself and accept what has happened and face those fears of yours. So taking it slowly….one day at a time… Grateful for the people in my life….who help me move forward and always lift me up when I feel down…and yes it does happen to me too… . . . .
