Lilly Singh Instagram – 😂 Watch until the end! My heart is weak. 🥲 This is my favourite moment from season 2 of Canada’s Got Talent. We were doing a planned shot where the judges were supposed to get up and walk backstage. As such, I left all my personal items at my desk because I knew someone from production would grab it. My parents didn’t know this, panicked and started yelling at @howiemandel that I forgot my phone. He being a sweetheart, tried to understand what they were saying. We had to redo the entire shot and I had to explain to the audience/crew that it was because my parents were so concerned for my belongings. It was hilarious and I felt kind of embarrassed like I was 10 years old again, but honestly, what better display of a parents love. I remember going back to my hotel room and feeling so emotional about it, because no matter which stage I’m on or how big my stardom gets, I can count on my parents to have my back… even in the smallest of ways.
