He’s the kid that makes anyone who never wanted kids, want them. He’s the old soul sage that makes you feel things you didn’t know were there. He is pure light. A blessing in all our lives. My teacher. My homie. My SONshine.

As we close #BlackHistoryMonth and begin #WomensHistoryMonth, my son has been super engulfed with and fascinated by history as of late… which comes with a lot of inquiry, learning of new facts and harsh truths.
Recently he asked me, “Mom, how many terrible things in have we survived?”
And I answered, “All of them.” 🙏🏾✊🏾
Let this be a reminder, that everything you’ve been through hasn’t been terrible enough to take you out. Keep going. You’re still here for a reason. ❤️🩹
Also, it’s winter in LA… like for real.. it snowed… and I’ve been dying for Kaia to wear this ridiculous hat. Swipe for the cuteness overload. You’re welcome. 😊
